Text on the meme

Q: What is the best prefix for global variables? A: //

What it means

A screenshot of a tweet asking for the best prefix for global variables, with the punchline “//”. In many programming languages, // starts a comment, jokingly suggesting that global variables should be commented out entirely; it is a reaction to poor coding practices and unwanted global state.
