A TikTok video films a television showing a fake Netflix interface that cycles through increasingly absurd movies and series centered on the invented word “Shmunguss,” including parody titles like “The Shmunguss King,” “I Married a Shmunguss,” “The Shmunguss Among Us,” and “The Shmunguss’ Revenge.” The joke is that Netflix appears to have an entire bizarre cinematic universe devoted to “Shmunguss,” making the catalog look completely broken and absurd.
