Text on the meme

What it means

EN: This mock-news video edits a giant purple mecha statue in Liuzhou’s skyline as if it were defending the city and responding to an unidentified object. The camera then interviews a sunglass-wearing, bearded citizen who seriously says he believes the mecha can protect Liuzhou; the tense siren-like audio and news captions make the absurdity even funnier. It works as a reaction meme about a city having a mecha guardian or presenting obvious nonsense with complete seriousness.
