Paper Airplanes at the World Cup
Absolutely disgraceful scenes here at the Al Bayt stadium. #ENG🇬🇧 supporters are throwing paper aeroplanes at the #USA🇺🇸 end while repeatedly chanting "9/11". #FIFAWorldCup 🏆 #Qatar2022 🏆
A fake Twitter post claims that England supporters at Al Bayt Stadium are throwing paper airplanes and chanting “9/11” at American fans during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The joke satirizes xenophobic football banter by presenting an absurd, tasteless reference to the September 11 attacks as a serious stadium incident, so it is used as an ironic reaction to outrageous or hypocritical sports commentary.
