A fake Uber ride-selection screen shows regular car options alongside a “Walking Buddy” option, where two people walk with the passenger for $7.50. The joke is that the intern’s absurd idea for making Uber profitable is to remove the car entirely and sell walking companionship as a ride. It is used as a reaction to ridiculous startup ideas, cost-cutting, or absurd business models.
