Swimming in the Moscow River Together
send this to her and say “us” Swimming in the Moscow River. USSR, 1987
A shirtless man dives awkwardly into the Moscow River while the Kremlin and a boat are visible behind him. The joke is that sending the image with “us” pretends the absurd, dangerous dive represents a romantic couple activity. It is used as an ironic reaction to suggest chaotic or questionable togetherness.
