Small Girl, Big Love

SHIT HAPPENS

A series of short clips shows a very tall man and a much shorter woman walking together, being lifted or supported in playful poses, and hugging in a store, followed by a tiny dog interacting with a much larger pug. The exaggerated size contrast makes the romantic footage absurd, while Lara Fabian’s dramatic song “Je suis malade” turns the silly scenes into melodramatic comedy. It works as a reaction video about overwhelming love, unlikely couples, or an absurdly dramatic situation.
