Cat Walks Into the Motel

GUIDE TO WEEKLY RATES AIR CONDITIONERS VACANCY MOTEL VAULT

What it means

A first-person, video-game-like nighttime walk through an empty city follows someone carrying a wide-eyed black-and-white cat in pink sleeves. A strange yellow banana-headed character appears near the motel and later behind a glass entrance, while the cat is carried indoors and then suddenly replaced by a small gray fallen figure in the hallway. The absurd visual sequence is paired with the cheerful children’s song “My Happy Song” by Super Simple Songs, making the eerie exploration feel bizarrely wholesome and turning the unexpected disappearance into the joke.
