Girls and Boys With a Time Machine

Text on the meme

Girls with time machine: I've missed you grandma Boys with time machine: I've missed you grandma

What it means

The meme contrasts girls and boys traveling back in time to see their grandmother. Both say they missed grandma, but the exaggerated emotional reactions and different cartoon styles make the comparison funny. It is used as a wholesome, absurd reaction to jokes about family nostalgia or gender stereotypes.
