Borrowed Pen Saves You
when the school shooter finds you, but remember that time you let him borrow your pen:
A fast-paced Team Fortress 2 montage shows armed mercenaries preparing for a dramatic confrontation, ending with a chaotic attack. The joke is that lending the shooter a pen in the past supposedly earns the victim mercy, turning a horrifying school-shooter scenario into absurd video-game humor. Valve Studio Orchestra’s “The Calm” plays underneath, creating an ironically peaceful and cinematic mood that makes the escalating violence funnier.
