Looking for My Best Friend
Me looking for my best friend after taking my anti-schizo pills
A bald man in a suit wanders through a formal White House-like room, searching around while people mingle nearby. The caption jokes that after taking antipsychotic medication, the narrator can no longer see their imaginary best friend, turning the man's aimless movement into a surreal reaction to losing a hallucinated companion. Beach House’s dreamy, melancholic song “Space Song” makes the clip feel dramatically wistful and absurd.
