Counter-Strike Keeps Getting Worse

Text on the meme

What it means

The meme compares Counter-Strike-era logos from 2004, 2012, and 2023 in a three-panel-by-three-panel layout. Each generation is nostalgically praised as the pinnacle while the previous one is dismissed as terrible, parodying how players constantly claim that the newest version ruined the game. It is used as a reaction to gaming nostalgia, sequel criticism, and endlessly repeated complaints about Counter-Strike changes.
