Patrick Bateman Removes His Face
Me coming home after pretending to care about people's pronouns and being politically correct at work
Patrick Bateman sits at home and slowly peels a transparent facial mask from his face. The joke portrays forced politeness and political correctness at work as a fake persona that he removes once he gets home. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to pretending to care about social conventions or workplace etiquette.
