Don't Work Intelligent, Work Hard

Text on the meme

DON’T WORK INTELLIGENT WORK HARD.

What it means

A cartoon shows several men pushing large golden balls along a path, repeatedly stepping on the same rake. One man tries to use a box to block the rake, but the joke is that avoiding a simple problem is portrayed as unnecessary cleverness: just keep working hard and repeating the mistake. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to glorifying hard work over smart solutions. EN: A cartoon shows several men pushing large golden balls along a path, repeatedly stepping on the same rake.
