From Romance to Warhammer
WARHAMMER 40,000 SPACE MARINES COMMANDER HEROES
A young couple flirt and move in for an affectionate embrace, then the clip cuts to a bearded man in glasses proudly presenting a Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines Commander Heroes box. The joke is the abrupt transition from romantic intimacy to an intensely nerdy hobby reveal, made even more dramatic by Bill Conti’s triumphant, motivational “Going the Distance” music. It works as a reaction to suddenly revealing an unexpected obsession or achievement.
