How Americans See EU Tech
How Americans see EU Tech with a GDPR data center is a vineyard ban the technology floppy disks
A young man in a cap presents European technology and infrastructure while walking through streets, by the sea, and past buildings. The exaggerated narration describes GDPR, an enormous data center that is actually a vineyard, banning American technology, and tiny transformer models on floppy disks. The joke mocks the stereotype that Europe’s tech sector is overregulated, underfunded, and technologically backward compared with the United States.
Every morning after I wake up I send out my GDPR notices. I commute exclusively by bike with a GDPR compliant app, which doesn't work on Tuesdays to offset data center emissions. All our employees get three hours for lunch break. 67 vacation days. Our 3G towers are the best ones in the world. This is our biggest data center. Europe's biggest chip factory. factory. We just raised 4.7 thousand euros. The other portfolio is the vineyard. We like to go to tech conferences to see what technology the US is building. And then we ban the technology immediately. Me and my co-founder, who's been 36 months of fraternity leave, our national pastime fighting for labor laws. We have access to frontier technologies, 5 kilobyte transformer models that fit on three floppy disks.
