Teletubbies Funeral Subtitle Mixup
In the 2010s, the Icelandic tv station Channel 2 accidentally added subtitles from The Sopranos to an episode of Teletubbies. I know you were high at my mother-in-laws funeral...
A yellow Teletubby stands beside another Teletubby lying in a colorful playroom, while an unexpectedly grim subtitle appears on screen. The joke comes from imagining a Sopranos-style funeral confession being accidentally broadcast over a cheerful children's show, making the scene absurd and darkly funny.
