The Email Finds You Well Machine
I hope this email finds you well
A handmade wooden machine connected to a laptop repeatedly types “I hope this email finds you well” in a document. Its elaborate crank-driven mechanism turns a routine email opener into an absurdly overengineered joke, making it useful as a reaction to repetitive work or an overly formal message. The rhythmic mechanical clacking and engine-like whirring reinforce the impression of a tiny automated office factory.
