Modern Digital Infrastructure Stack

Text on the meme

ALL MODERN DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE Whatever Microsoft is doing aws CLOUDFLARE AI Unpaid Open Source Developers DNS Linux Foundation

What it means

A hand-drawn, precarious stack labeled with the components supporting modern digital infrastructure: AWS, Cloudflare, the Linux Foundation, DNS, unpaid open-source developers, and AI. The joke is that much of the internet rests on a fragile pile of open-source work and infrastructure, while Microsoft’s mysterious activity is shown as a tiny unrelated block. It is used as a reaction to discussions about tech ecosystems, software infrastructure, and dependence on underappreciated open-source contributors.
