Dead Spider Eye Surgery
watched a talk on Necrobotics, which started by posing an insane question: would you let a dead spider, controlled by AI robotics, perform surgery on your eyeball? and then told us that this wasn’t actually a theoretical question at all. Necrobotics – What Is It, Really? Step 2: Insert needle and seal Glue Needle Necrobotic Gripper
A screenshot describes a talk about necrobotics and shows a dead spider being used as a robotic gripper. The joke is that the supposedly absurd question about a dead spider performing eye surgery was based on a real experiment, making the situation unsettling and absurd.
