Musk and the Digital God

WATCH: Elon Musk says Google co-founder Larry Page sought to build a “digital God, if you will, as soon as possible.” “I said, ‘we got to make sure humanity is OK here’ and then he called me a ‘Speciest,’” Musk said.

The clip shows Elon Musk being interviewed by Tucker Carlson, intercut with footage of Google co-founder Larry Page and reactions from both men. The caption claims that Page wanted to build a “digital God,” while Musk says he warned about humanity and was called a “Speciest.” The joke presents ambitious artificial intelligence and Silicon Valley ideas as potentially religious or apocalyptic, matching the uploader’s “AI is the antichrist” framing.
