WHAT IS THE

A woman appears in close-up with the caption “WHAT IS THE,” then the clip cuts to a tattooed man in a conservatory hanging from a beam before sitting on a crate and theatrically playing an electric guitar while drinking from a bottle. The absurd escalation turns a confused question into a chaotic rock-star reaction, accompanied by Linkin Park’s “Somewhere I Belong,” whose dramatic alternative-metal mood makes the performance feel hilariously over-serious.
