Napster CD-R Time Capsule
napster™ cd-r 700 MB • 80 MIN COMPACT disc Recordable WWW.napster.com
A close-up photo of a blank recordable CD-R labeled with the early-2000s Napster logo, lying on gray fabric. The joke is nostalgic: Napster was associated with downloading and sharing music, so seeing its logo on a writable disc evokes the era of burning music collections onto CDs. People send this as a reaction to old internet nostalgia, outdated technology, or memories of early music piracy.
