A medieval landscape shows two opposing castles and boats, with “our” SCP community elements presented as noble and heroic, while “their” fanfiction elements are labeled barbarous and primitive. The joke satirizes fandom tribalism and the tendency for SCP fans to mock fanfiction communities, especially AO3 users, alternate universes, beta readers, and self-insert original characters. It is used as a reaction to playful fandom elitism or gatekeeping.
