DEVS THE WILL TO REWRITE THE WHOLE PROGRAM IN A NEW LANGUAGE
A giant sea monster labeled “DEVS” rises from the water while a small boat passes above it. The joke is that developers suddenly feel an overwhelming urge to rewrite an entire existing program in a new programming language, often as an exaggerated reaction to technical dissatisfaction or novelty.
