Xe/Xem Meets the Perfect Boy
xe/xem they/them Hi my name is Tempest
A teal-haired person wearing glasses introduces themself as Tempest with the pronouns xe/xem and they/them. The clip abruptly cuts to bizarre stock-footage close-ups of a high-heeled shoe and contorted feet, then returns to the person with an exaggerated anime-like face overlay. The absurd visual interruption turns a straightforward introduction into a surreal reaction joke, amplified by the music “THE PERFECT BOY” by Jay Sagi, an electronic track with a dramatic, uncanny mood.
