The First of Us
FIRST OF US THE FIRST OF US
A church or community hall stage displays a homemade sign reading “THE FIRST OF US,” parodying the title of the post-apocalyptic game and TV series The Last of Us. The joke is the awkwardly literal replacement of “Last” with “First,” making it useful as an absurd reaction to beginnings, introductions, or being first at something.
