Because He Never Did
Why don’t you ever give up? Because he never did
A dramatic CGI battle shows a battered armored warrior and a vast army fighting beneath a stormy sky, while the lower panel asks, “Why don’t you ever give up?” and answers, “Because he never did.” The absurdly epic perseverance joke is amplified by Evanescence’s dramatic alternative metal song “Bring Me to Life,” making the warrior’s apparent defeat feel hilariously inspirational as the music swells.
