Because He Never Did
Why don’t you ever give up? Because he never did
A tiny white mouse repeatedly tries to squeeze and climb through the gap beneath a large wooden door. The caption answers why it never gives up with “Because he never did,” turning the mouse’s absurd persistence into a melodramatic reaction about inherited determination. The melancholic cover of “welcome and goodbye” by emptiness makes the tiny struggle feel unexpectedly tragic and inspirational.
