A dark-colored cat is stretched out in an unusually straight line across a soft cat bed. The joke is the extreme literalness of the caption: the cat sleeps so straight that its body resembles a ruler or a perfectly aligned object. This is shared as an absurd reaction to someone being rigid, precise, or unusually orderly.
