Warhammer Mission Assignment Directive

+++ MISSION ASSIGNMENT: COMMAND DIRECTIVE +++ Your mission parameters will be issued by the Command Staff preceding each engagement. These assignments will be uniquely tailored to the evolving combat scenarios within the Keshandras System and will be shaped by the overarching strategic directives of your commanding officers, the revered Lords of War. Anticipated Number of Engagements: No less than Six distinct operational deployments. Force Selection: • Warhammer 40,000 Commanders: You are empowered to select units to comprise your Crusade Force that are best suited to your taskings statements and scheme of manoeuvre. The Command Staff recommends you review the information presented from page 276 in the Warhammer 40,000 Core Book for information on assembling an appropriate force. • Kill Team Commanders: Due to significant attrition among Special Warfare Operations (SWO) Officer-In-Command across each Chalnath, your operational command has been expanded to include three distinct units of Special Warfare Operators for the foreseeable future. As such, you are now authorised to deploy up to three separate Kill Teams under your command. While only one Kill Team will be engaged in each combat operation, the Command Staff strongly advises that you bring all three teams with you for the duration of current operations. This will afford you greater strategic flexibility in selecting the most effective force for each engagement. You may select your three teams from any available Kill Teams; however, we strongly discourage disparate faction alignments. Bringing units that do not share natural affinities may result in significant deleterious consequences, potentially compromising your operational effectiveness.

EN: The image shows an official-looking mission directive for Warhammer 40,000 and Kill Team commanders overlaid on a dramatic space battle scene. Command authorizes bringing three Kill Teams but warns against mixing incompatible factions, parodying bureaucratic military language and the metamodern insertion of the Russian “SVO” concept into Warhammer. The meme is used as an absurd reaction to attempts to transfer modern military and political rhetoric into a fantasy universe.
