Barbie Inspired by The Matrix
‘Barbie’ is inspired by Serial Experiments Lain, The Matrix and The Truman Show. “A Barbie doll determined to find the place beyond the plastic dream world she’s living in it. she has realized that Perfection comes from inside, and that Happiness in believing in oneself.”
The image shows Barbie and Ken riding in a pink convertible through the colorful, artificial world of Barbie Land. The text humorously presents Barbie as an existential character inspired by Serial Experiments Lain, The Matrix, and The Truman Show, despite the cheerful toy-like setting and motivational message.
