morning routine as a journalist working in London. I wake up around 11am and start the day with some self-care and catch up on some reading. I'll then do a 20 minute yoga session before breakfast, which today is totally sustainable bug cereal and plant-based milk served with a generous pinch for fair trade sugar. Knowing that I'm not killing the planet makes it even more delicious. I'll then give my plants some breakfast as I think about what I'm going to write about that day, but not before the all-important soy latte. Mmm, caffeine. I usually start writing at one depending on my editor's demands, but I'm lucky to have the freedom to write about the real issues that matter to me. For lunch I'm having my favourite plant-based eggs and bacon, which tastes exactly like the real thing without destroying the planet. And yes, that is maple syrup. Mmm, heaven. After lunch it's time to burn some cows and take Trotsky for a walk, so that he isn't too tired when my girlfriend and her boyfriend get back from East London later tonight.
