Inflation Versus Crypto Losses
With inflation at 7.5%, you lose half your money in 9 years. The only way to outperform that consistently, that I have found, is crypto. Just this year I’ve already lost half my money.
A social media post explains that inflation halves the value of money over time, then claims crypto is the only consistent way to outperform it. The punchline is that the speaker immediately admits crypto has already halved their money this year, making the supposed solution worse than inflation.
