Scandinavian Airlines snack service 1969

Serving a snack on Scandinavian Airlines flight, 1969.

A vintage photo shows a Scandinavian Airlines flight attendant serving two seated passengers from a lavish snack trolley in 1969. The trolley holds a huge ham on a stand, sausages, bread rolls, sliced meat, bottles and glasses; the humor comes from calling this extravagant feast a simple “snack,” contrasting it with modern airline food.
