McDonald’s Kiosk S3 Bucket

I’m almost certain the images on the McDonald’s kiosk are hosted in an S3 bucket in us-east Hot Drinks Browse between categories below All Premium Roast Coffee Tea Lattes Cappuccinos Mocha Hot Chocolate Americano & Espresso Others Premium Roast Brewed Coffee $1.54 | 4 Cal Premium Roast Decaf Coffee $1.54 | 1 Cal Senior’s Coffee $1.19 | 3 Cal Senior’s Decaf Coffee $1.19 | 0 Cal Orange Pekoe Tea $1.64 | 0 Cal Earl Grey Tea $1.54 | 0 Cal Green Tea $1.54 | 0 Cal Peppermint Tea $1.54 | 0 Cal English Breakfast Tea $1.19 | 0 Cal

A photo shows a McDonald’s self-service kiosk displaying the Hot Drinks menu, but every product image is replaced by a generic broken “Image” placeholder. The joke is that the missing images are probably stored in an Amazon S3 bucket in the us-east region and the kiosk cannot load them, a familiar failure mode for developers and cloud engineers.
