Cat Resists the Lustful Gaze
Always look up, away from the lust of the eyes Cast your selfish desires off Go, and simp no more
A woman stands behind an enormous fluffy tabby cat as it dramatically tilts its head upward. Over Dmitry Hvorostovsky, Nikolai Kornev & the St. Petersburg Chamber Choir’s solemn classical choral song “We Praise Thee (Tebe Poem),” the captions parody a religious sermon, telling viewers to reject lust and stop simping. The sacred music makes the cat’s exaggerated pose and absurd moral lesson feel mock-epic and hilariously overdramatic.
