EN: At an electronic music festival, a long-haired performer plays onstage in front of a giant screen showing surreal visuals—a cartoon character, close-ups, and bursts of light. As Virtual Riot’s “Touhou Riddim (Subtronics Remix)” hits its sharp drop, the stage fills with strobes, smoke, and lasers while the crowd raises their hands and records the spectacle on their phones. The joke comes from the hyperactive contrast between the absurd screen imagery and the overwhelmingly powerful music: it is a reaction to a moment of complete musical chaos.
