A black dog named Billy repeatedly encounters classical music: first playing a piano, then apparently hearing it everywhere, and finally finding a cellist in an office. Billy settles down to listen to Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1, and the joke is that his obsession with classical music is so intense that even ordinary places seem filled with it; the bowed-string music acts as the punchline and makes the dog’s contentment funny. It is used as a reaction to enthusiastically enjoying something or refusing to stop listening to it.
