Software Onion Layers
Most software is written like an onion The more layers you peel back, the more you want to cry
A whole and cut-open onion are shown beneath text comparing software architecture to an onion. The joke is that peeling back layers of software reveals increasing complexity and frustration, just as peeling an onion makes you cry. It is sent as a humorous reaction to over-engineered, confusing, or heavily layered code.
