Google When I Log In
Google when an app harvests my data Google when I login on a new device
A two-panel image shows a battle-worn insect-like robot in a snowy battlefield. In the first panel, Google looks relatively calm when an app harvests the user's data; in the second, it becomes intensely red and aggressive when the user logs in on a new device. The joke highlights Google's exaggerated security reaction to a new login compared with its tolerance of widespread data collection.
