YOUR HONOUR MY CLIENT WAS CLEARLY JUST TRYING TO SAVE HIS LIFE BY MOTIVATING HIM TO GET IN THE EVA
An anime woman and a suited lawyer sit in a courtroom while the lawyer argues that his client was only trying to save his life by motivating him to get into the EVA. The joke combines courtroom defense language from Better Call Saul with Evangelion’s dangerous mecha piloting, treating a desperate command as legally justified motivation.
