What it means

A retro-style infographic presents an old 8-bit NMOS microprocessor and boasts about its specifications, including memory, speed, instruction set, bus width, and transistor count. The joke is the exaggeratedly enthusiastic marketing language—calling modest vintage hardware “Next Generation” and “Industry Leading”—so it is shared as a nostalgic or ironic reaction to outdated technology being advertised as revolutionary.
