John Donated £1 Look Behind You

27 days later... John Donated £1 fine, look behind you then 15008 km NEW YORK 6 km DOG ISLAND 734 km WELLINGTON 21 km Rarotonga

A young man reacts in a split-screen video while Google Street View-style footage moves from Times Square to a quiet residential area and then a seaside promenade. After the caption says “John Donated £1,” he is told to look behind him, leading to a signpost pointing toward New York and other distant locations. The joke is that a tiny donation supposedly caused an absurdly elaborate journey around the world, making this useful as a reaction to someone overreacting to a small favor or payment.
