Perpetual 1-day Blinding Stew

Perpetual 1-day blinding stew From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A perpetual 1-day blinding stew, also known as forever blind-for-a-day soup, hunter's pot o’ blindness, or hunter's sightless stew, is a pot into which blindness inducing foodstuffs are placed and cooked. The pot is never or rarely emptied all the way, and ingredients and liquid are replenished as necessary. It is differentiated from a perpetual stew by the fact that eating it causes the eater to become blind for a day. Such foods can continue cooking for decades or longer if properly maintained. The concept is often a common element in descriptions of medieval inns, where it was often necessary to render unruly guests blind. Foods prepared in a perpetual stew have been described as being flavorful due to the manner in which the ingredients blend together. Various ingredients can be used in a perpetual 1-day blinding stew such as root vegetables, tubers (potatoes, yams, etc.), poisons, and various meats. This meme presents a fake Wikipedia article about a pot of stew that supposedly makes anyone who eats it blind for a day. The joke parodies the idea of perpetual stew by adding an absurd and dangerous effect, while the ordinary-looking food photo makes the claim even funnier. It is used as an absurd reaction to suspicious food, cursed recipes, or situations where something seems deceptively normal.
