Why Would They Join NATO?
NATO keeps expanding in our neighborhood! Oh no, they're attacking and annexing countries into NATO?? No, the countries are asking to join NATO themselves but why would those countries want to join NATO?
A six-panel Wojak comic shows a gray Russian-flagged character reacting to NATO expansion. After learning that countries are voluntarily asking to join NATO, the character becomes angry, implying that Russia cannot understand why its neighbors would want protection from it. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to Russian propaganda and denial about NATO expansion. EN: A six-panel Wojak comic shows a gray Russian-flagged character reacting to NATO expansion.
