Post-Hangout Affirmations
post-hangout affirmations -i was normal -there are at least 2 or 3 people alive who are worse to spend time with than me -no one wants me to die -nobody noticed when i missed my mouth a little bit & spilled some diet coke down my shirt
A screenshot lists anxious self-reassurances someone repeats after spending time with other people. The joke is that ordinary social awkwardness, such as spilling Diet Coke, is treated as evidence that the hangout was not a disaster. It is used as a self-deprecating reaction to social anxiety and overthinking after socializing.
