Story Points Have Become Pointier
What's new in Jira Cloud for macOS • Story points have become decidedly pointier. Now you can add numbers with decimal points. Precision for the win! • Bugs were extricated, including one that sporadically booted people out of the app.
A screenshot of a Jira Cloud for macOS release-notes page has a red hand-drawn circle around a bullet announcing that story points can now use decimal points. The joke is the exaggerated wording and pointless celebration of a trivial software update, making it useful as a sarcastic reaction to unnecessary precision or overhyped improvements.
