Cursed C++ Error Message Competition
There’s a cursed C++ competition where programmers try to create the largest possible error message. Finalists created ~1.5GB of error messages from just 256 bytes of source.
A social media post jokes about programmers competing to generate absurdly huge C++ compiler error messages from tiny amounts of source code. The punchline is the extreme mismatch between the 256 bytes of code and approximately 1.5GB of resulting error text.
