Kapton Tape Kintsugi Repair
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing gorilla glass with kapton tape
A close-up photo shows the cracked camera glass of a silver smartphone crudely repaired with yellow Kapton tape, with a knife visible on the wooden table above it. The joke falsely describes this improvised phone repair as the Japanese art of kintsugi, humorously exaggerating a cheap fix as traditional craftsmanship.
